Process automation analyst / Praha

As process automation analyst, you will perform a detailed and structured analysis of work performed by the Shared Service Centre organization or its Customers on the basis of existing process / procedure documentation and by step-through review. You will identify and document manual activities, which can be meaningfully supported by increased automation within the existing systems or by use of a Robotic Process Automation tool. You will draft target processes / procedures, will assess the resulting automation potentials, prepare decision support and propose a prioritization to the Global Business Process Manager Shared Services. After go-ahead, you will support or fully assume project management tasks in coordinating the implementation of automation potentials with internal stakeholders, such as Global Process Experts and IT or external partners, such as a Robotics implementation partner.

You will implement the strategic global SSC automation initiative by deploying Robotic Process Automation and will ensure use case implementation from analysis to productive go-live. You will be part of establishing SSC Automation Centre of Expertise in Prague.

This role is a permanent assignment. You will report to the Global Business Process Manager Shared Services. Your location will be Prague, the Czech Republic. You will be expected to conduct limited business travels and will be supplemented by state-of-the art Videoconferencing systems.

Essential Responsibilities

- Perform service area process / procedure review independently
- Document process / procedure review and perform assessment of automation potentials
- Work closely with various business stakeholders to develop solution designs to automate business processes
- Prepare decision basis for prioritization of potentials (Business Case)
- Assume project management responsibilities in coordinating the implementation of automation potentials with internal or external stakeholders

Technical or functional Knowledge
- High, demonstrated affinity to systems, IT and the wider ERP systems landscape
- Practical basic experience in programming (e.g. Automation through Excel VBA code not macros) or IT solution development
- Experience working with Robotic Process Automation technologies (e.g. UiPath (preferred), BluePrism, Automation Anywhere) is an advantage
- Ideally knowledge of process notation standard BPMN 2.0
- Experience in working in a Shared Service environment would be a plus

Experience and Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in Management or Informations Technology (Software/applications track)
- Consulting experience, ideally Process Consulting, Operations Consulting or IT Consulting
- Prior experience in project management
- Experience in Shared Services, or relevant experience in a Business Support function with a clear service orientation and defined service levels is an advantage
- Strong ambition and track record for service development and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated end-to-end process thinking across functions and systems
- Strong, demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, problem solving ability and to meet deadlines required
- Proactive and customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 50% in the beginning, later in 2nd phase around 30%
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German
